Dealing with Employment Relationship Problems - An Employer’s Guide, New Zealand
The Employment Relations Act 2000 (ERA) governs employment relationship problems.
The objective of the ERA is to assist parties to build productive employment relationships by encouraging mutual trust and confidence in all aspects of the employment environment. However this will not always be successful.
The ERA provides systems to resolve problems. When things go wrong, the emphasis is on promoting access to information and mediation services rather than adherence to rigid formal procedures.
